- Norwegians
- People of Norwegian ancestry
- Norwegian by marriage
- Anyone interested in learning about Norway and promoting its culture and heritage.
What Does it Cost?
Adult primary membership(over 23) is $37.00 a year, spouses are $29.50.
Heritage membership is FREE for children / grandchildren age 15 and younger who have at least one parent / grandparent that is a Sons of Norway member.
Heritage Members receive a quarterly newsletter “Viking for Kids” with lots of fun activities and information on Norway, past and present, and their very own membership card. “Viking for Kids” also includes a Pen Pal Club, brief language lessons, and features such as what’s “cool/hot/not” among Norwegian kids.
Family Membership is FREE membership to individuals, age 16 through 23, who live in the same household as a parent or grandparent who is a member of Sons of Norway. These individuals, age 16 through 23, can become an Unge Venner member and not pay dues.
Unge Venner members will receive, the Valhall Viking newsletter published by Valhall Lodge and their very own membership card. In addition, they will receive a special newsletter called “News of Norway” published by the Royal Norwegian Embassy that Valhall’s Membership Secretary will order for you.
