Welcome to Valhall Lodge! From Bunads to Lutefisk - experience a touch of Norway right here in sunny San Diego! Valhall Lodge offers its members a chance to pursue and enjoy their Norwegian culture and heritage.
We offer informal 'classes' in rosemaling, woodcarving, cooking and Norwegian genealogy research. We have meetings throughout the year for fellowship and lodge 'business, and we often have an interesting cultural presentation. We have "Socials" monthly where we get our chance to enjoy typical Norwegian foods such as lutefisk, salmon, labskaus, lefse and more and enjoy the fellowship of other members and guests!
We are part of the international organization called "Sons of Norway", which is the world's largest ethnic fraternal 'benefit society.
Come Join Us
Visit us at our next social or 'business meeting. You do not need to be a member to attend our socials. You do not need to be Norwegian to join. Many of our members are of Norwegian descent, or Norwegian by marriage. Anyone who has an interest in the objectives and purposes of Sons of Norway, and is at least 16 years of age may be accepted into membership.
