Kretsstevne 2008

Thousand Trails Campground in Idyllwild

September 26-28, 2008.

Thousand Trails is located in the San Jacinto Mountains and is a 200 acre camping preserve in rugged pine covered mountains at 6,435 ft. elevation.

As before, we are requesting 3 dozen cookies from each lodge for our hospitality table. Please send the cookies with someone who will attend the Kretsstevne.  Also, please supply a $ 10.00 gift to be raffled off.

Hot “lapskaus” (Norwegian stew) will be served Friday evening. Saturday lunch is “potluck” so bring a dish to share. Saturday evening is B.B.Q. tri-tip with all the trimmings.

Along with the usual great food and fellowship, there will be boutiques, activities, games for the children, bingo, singing and entertainment.

****Previous years the Thousand Trails Cantina has stayed open for us for breakfast but I do not know if they will; they will let me know later on.

See you all at Idyllwild in September!
